Reacting to a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, a hate site is accusing Gal Gadot of planning a “mass feminist brainwashing” with the release of the sequel to her international hit film Wonder Woman.
For the world premier of the Wonder Woman 1984 trailer at the 2019 Comic Con Experience – São Paulo, Gadot sat down with ET reporter Rachel Smith and said, among other things, the feminism Wonder Woman projects is not only important for girls, but that boys and men also need to learn why female empowerment is important.
“It goes both ways, we can’t just empower women, only by focusing on women, we also need to educate the boys and the men so a young boy that goes to see this in the cinema, this amazing woman that does those amazing things, that he can believe a woman can do that.”
The interview immediately caused ripples with some conservative-leaning media outlets but none as extreme as that from alt-right.com, a website that calls itself an academic think-tank and whose stated purpose is to ‘promote information and discourse in support of Western civilization and draw attention to the imminent demographic threat of mass immigration which is on course to completely erase the unique cultures and peoples of the Occident.’
“The Hebrew villain Gal Gadot has told an interviewer that she wants to see all men and boys undergo intensive brainwashing so that they accept a matriarchal system of female satanic domination,” writes site editor Brandon Martinez. “Why would men and boys need to learn about the importance of female empowerment? This is just goofy shit that dingbat females say without thinking it through. Women are below men for a reason: they are weaker and less intelligent. Nature intended it to be so.”
Martinez also states it has been hardwired into Gadot’s Jewish DNA to search and destroy white culture and civilization. “Like all Jews, Gadot’s genes compel her sick mind to viscerally attack all things white and Christian, all things Western and good.”
Martinez believes the success of 2017’s Wonder Woman is owed to positive reviews by Jewish film critics designed to elevate a “feminist agenda ” and aid the “globalist Jewish agenda of white genocide.”
Wonder Woman, directed by Patty Jenkins, is no stranger to political controversy, nor is it’s star, Gal Gadot. Upon her casting for 2016’s Batman vs Superman, some fans complained about her Jewish heritage and eerily pointed to her skin tone and brown eye color as points of contention.
On May 31, the film was banned in Lebanon after the Campaign to Boycott Supporters of Israel asked the Lebanese government’s Ministry of Economy and Trade to block the film because its star, Gal Gadot, is Israeli. The Lebanese government did not ban Gadot’s Fast & Furious films which did screen in Lebanon. On June 6, Variety reported that Algiers pulled the film from the Nuits du Cinéma film festival.
Stateside, some men were unhappy with women-only screenings held at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Austin, with some opponents of the gender-restricted screening stating such screenings were discriminatory against men. The chain responded by announcing a similar event at their Brooklyn location. Tickets sold out in less than an hour, prompting the chain to schedule additional screenings.
Wonder Woman grossed $412.6 million in the United States and Canada and $409.3 million in other territories for a worldwide total of $821.8 million. The film is roundly considered the first bonafide hit for Warner Brothers’ DC Cinematic Universe and is heralded for it’s pro-woman cultural impact.
The much anticipated sequel, set in the year 1984, is set for release in June 2020.
