In a move that can only be described as a vote of confidence, the CW has ordered new episodes for both of its new fall femme fatale series, Batwoman and Nancy Drew, bringing both to full-season orders. According to Deadline, the full-season orders come after only three airings of each shows, a rarity for the CW.
Batwoman and Nancy Drew have both performed well with delayed viewing, seeing significant increases in overall audience numbers from DVRs and streaming from the CW digital platforms. Batwoman‘s linear ratings have increased 73% among adults 18-34 and 80% in adults 18-49 in L+7. Nancy Drew has posted gained an impressive 94% in adults 18-34 and 114% in adults 18-49 in L+7, according to Nielsen and the CW.
Batwoman is now the CW’s second most watched, and highest rated in 18-49 (L+SD) series.
Snore ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ pees on 80 years of Batman bad acting
I don’t think anyone believes ‘Michael Lopez’ knows anything about live action Batman portrayals.
Suck it , haters!!!
The CW discovered years ago that many people, especially their millennial target audience, aren’t always at home to watch a show the night it airs. Factoring in same-week DVR plays and streaming to a show’s first week ratings just makes sense.
